A negative universe is an alternate universe that is much like the normal universe except everything is reverse-colored. Even the black holes are "white holes."

A Quintesson scientist kidnapped Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, Wreck-Gar, and Marissa Faireborn to perform psychological experiments on them. His ship with them aboard was pulled into a black hole, sending them to a negative universe. Everyone aboard survived with no ill effects, but the color spectrum was shifted. No one had any desire to explore the newly discovered universe, so they went home by going back into the black hole (a white hole in the negative universe). The Killing Jar
