- Highjump is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Asking Highjump to stick to the rules is like asking water to run uphill. He's the most "cloak and dagger" of the Off Road Patrol, happily ignoring battle protocol whenever it's convenient, especially on those missions that Autobot command never sanctioned in the first place. One would think that his puts him at odds with his by-the-books Patrol leader Powertrain, but the two actually get along very well. Highjump’s infiltration skills are beyond question, and he does the regrettable dirty work that sometimes needs to be done to make a mission succeed.[1]

Zone story pages
When Victory Saber initiated the "Zone Project", the Off Road Patrol helped rebuild planet Micro into the new and improved planet Zone. To counter this threat, Violen Jiger began conquering worlds to build his own Decepticon Zone. All the Micromaster teams, including the Off Road Patrol, were then mobilized to patrol the galaxy, specifically planets where their special abilities would be most useful. Early on, the Off Road Patrol were sent to scout a rocky, mountainous planet. Zone Part 1
Later, King Poseidon and Trypticon were sent to conquer the aquatic world of Wall. The Off Road Patrol engaged them in battle and with the help of Commanders Overload, Erector, Missile Bull and Skywave, they emerged triumphant. Zone Part 3
When the Powered Masters flew off to the Tenth Planet for their showdown with Violen Jiger, all the Micromaster teams took command of Zone and vowed to keep it safe in their Commander's absence. Zone Part 10
Dreamwave comics continuity
Highjump and Powertrain were hanging out in Little Iacon, discussing the Decepticon recruit named Blaze Master. They had tagged him as a possible change-over from the 'Cons to the Autobots' side. Highjump was also present for Big Daddy's race with Roadhandler. The Gray Race When Venom's troop attacked Little Iacon, he fought back against the Decepticon guzzlers, but ended up taken prisoner along with the rest of the Autobot Micromasters. - Off Road Patrol (Micromaster Patrol, 1989)
- Highjump transforms into a gray Land Rover Defender off-road truck of undetermined model with a roof-mounted winch. He was only available in a four-pack with his teammates Mudslinger, Powertrain and Tote.

- Japanese ID number: C-335
- The Off Road Patrol was sold in Japan a year later as part of the Zone series, with no notable changes from their Hasbro releases.
Trivia
- Highjump's vehicle mode and transformation are reused from an ambitious, yet unproduced Headmaster design patented in 1987.[2]
