The Clothes Horse is a human from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The height of fashion in 1985. No, really.

A New Yorker, the Clothes Horse is on the very forefront of fashion trends. Somehow the existence of giant transforming robots seems to have completely passed him by.

Fiction

Generation 1 cartoon

Voice actor: Casey Kasem

The Clothes Horse was hanging out at the Dancitron when Tracks and Blaster entered the nightclub. Assuming that they were humans, the Clothes Horse admired their fancy suits, asking Tracks if he'd gotten the outfit in Soho. When Tracks responded "Cybertron", the Clothes Horse fished for an address, but Tracks walked away, distracted by the oddly-attired people he'd spotted. Auto-Bop

Notes

  • The Clothes Horse wasn't to be seen later among the hypnotized patrons, so maybe he went looking for a clothing store.
  • Seriously, that's the name he's credited as.
    • (It's an older slang term for someone who is fixated on fashion and desires to have a lot of different, flashy, outfits.)
  • Is that a "Frankie Says RELAX" t-shirt?
