Located in scenic Death Valley, the Omega Whip is a huge Decepticon-built electromagnetic cannon.

Fiction

Generation 1 comic

Having used the Omega Whip to destroy a human city, Megatron demanded that the humans surrender their planet. Hound, Jenny and Toru managed to find the Decepticon base housing the weapon, but the trio was promptly captured by Starscream.

When Superion tried to prevent Menasor from subsequently attacking a power plant, Megatron ordered the Omega Whip used against the Autobot combiner. Struck by the cannon's power, Superion found himself unable to change his formation to defensive mode, and was at Menasor's mercy. Thinking quickly, Jenny tricked Starscream and used her transmitter to temporarily take control of him. Starscream fell into a trance and was made to fire his heat-seeking missiles, destroying both the Omega Whip and the Decepticon base it was installed in. The three prisoners were then able to escape, despite Ravage's vain attempt to stop them. Full Throttle Scramble Power!
