"It is unknown whether the Maximals were ever able to fully remove its wreckage or if the remails still lie burried somewhere on Earth." the Axalon wreckage was still there in Primeval Dawn so I would consider re-writing this.

Should "Axalon" redirect directly to the BW ship? There was an an Axalon in Armada - I think it was the ship the Autobots chased the Hydra Cannon ship with. --Monzo 19:49, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes. If they want the Armada one, they should click the disambiguation tag at the top. 99% of people who type in Axalon want the Beast Wars version. Axalon would only link to the disambiguation page if both uses of the name were equally prominent. --ItsWalky 20:14, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it should. There are only two Axalons. In cases where there are only two instances of a name, a disambiguation page is not needed unless it's really, really hard to pick which one is more prominent. The Axalon (BW) page starts with a disambig notice linking to the (currently empty) UT Axalon page. That's the proper format. --Steve-o 20:16, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Impact?

I was just re-watching Beast Wars Part 1 just now, and I noticed something. The Axalon entered its collision course with Earth falling backwards, but at its crash site, it becomes obvious it crashed face-first. Is this a goof? --Detour 22:22, 17 December 2009 (EST)

Well, if you're going to be a jerk about it, sure, let me pull out my damn DVDS. Considering the last thing the Axalon was doing before it hit the atmosphere was spinning around so it could shoot at the Predacon ship, I'm not really surprised it was pointing in a different direction after falling several hundred miles. --ItsWalky 00:23, 21 December 2009 (EST)

Pretty sure the gravity pull upon entering the atmosphere would've put a stop to the spinning, what with physics and all coming into play. Plus, during entry, neither ship is spinning any longer. And yeah, the Axalon is definitely facing backwards... which makes the position it crashed in pretty much impossible. --Detour 00:34, 21 December 2009 (EST)
