So, do we call the clone a seperate character? But for Rampage's death, he would have... remaiend so, but it becoems complicated with DB posessing his own clone, and the two never really... existed side-by-side enough to require seperate pages... And yet- by Wiki standards we seem to consider clones seperate dudes. -Derik 08:01, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

TM2 Dinobot is a separate character. I don't think it's complicated at all, regardless of his totally unexplained personality change in the finale. --KilMichaelMcC 08:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

*lick* -Derik 09:17, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

For Dinobot's TM2 entry, notarize that it's a Predacon clone created by Megatron, and decidedly not the original. In it's story background, simply say that 'Originally, an episode was planned which showed Rattrap uploading the original Dinobot's memories into the clone. This episode was not made, however, leaving a serious plot hole for the final season of Beast Wars, and the handling of the Dinobot TM2 character.' --Vanguard

*scratches head* Soo... if you make a new body for Dinobot and load his memories into it off a data backup, it's a new character. But if you make a new body for Optimus Prime... -Derik 17:40, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Point being is that we never actually SEE Dinobot II's memory implant (aside from a very well done fan-comic), so he's still a completely seperate being (a literal twin brother), as far as the cartoon's involved. --Vanguard
No one ever "made a new body for Dinobot," Megatron created a clone of the original that would be loyal to him, and gave it life with half of someone else's spark. --KilMichaelMcC 19:08, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
What he said. --ItsWalky 19:12, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Oh! Liek prowl and Chip! Why didn't you jsut say so? -Derik 20:04, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

How would the *other* Dinobot clone fit in? You know, the one that he ate?

I would give "Double Dinobot" a new page. P.S. What about a line or two about the Cyber-Raptors?X-BoB58 00:46, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

IIRC, Dinobot's nontransforming clone was officially named 'Clone One.' -Derik 01:01, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Character entries

They should be written "in universe," without breaking the fourth wall. Meaning no "But Jhiaxus how do you live, I thought you died in G2 #11." Never reference the name of an episode out-right. However, you can put the little footnote links to episode pages instead, as I have demonstrated. --ItsWalky 16:33, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Ah. I see, I'll make sure to do that in the future. Tantrum 17:27, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, but am I the only one who thinkks ldans died to an hero sounds awful

No. That's the joke. --EricMarrs 13:29, 24 January 2007

Yes, but it doesn't suit the feel of the article

Attention, Kitbashers!

I've noticed through several kitbash websites that A lot of people like to kitbash Dinobot's head, making it much more show accurate. Is there anyone who is willing to do this for a commission? If so, contact me via my discussion page. King Starscream 04:01, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Protection

We should probably get this article protected so people will stop changing the main caption. -- Hunter-113 12:47, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Needs moar Worf captions. Dinobot is Worf.
