Detonator (G1)
Detonator is a Recyclon in the Generation 1 continuity.
Detonator serves aboard the Reclamation, under the command of Salvage.
Detonator is the least humanoid member of the Reclamation crew. His small, nearly featureless head ressts atop a grey, squarish body. He can launch small but potent energon grenades from his chest, and also combines with his comrades into the Prime Processing Unit.

While scouring the galaxy for recyclables, Assessor detected a large junk deposit, which Detonator identified as the fabled planet of Junk. Salvage landed the Reclamation on the planet's surface, where Detonator combined with his comrades into the Prime Processing Unit. Before they could begin converting the junk to energy, however, an army of Junkions commanded by Wreck-Gar erupted from the ground. In the brief skirmish that followed, Detonator was struck by a Junkion bolo which jammmed his chest-port shut, detonating his grenades inside of him. Badly damaged, he was carried back to the ship by Assessor and Extractor.
Back aboard the Reclamation, Detonator was repaired, and once more combined with his comrades into the Prime Processing Unit. But before they could begin processing Junk, a tractor beam dragged the Reclamation into the planet's surface, reducing the ship - and Detonator - to junk.
