Daniel discovers that Sixshot may not be such a bad fella as they join forces to take down a bunch of Space Hunters.
Synopsis
Out in space, the Headmasters of Justice and Daniel (in his Exosuit) do battle with Sixshot who has stolen a capsule of emergency food rations solely because he's super evil. While the Headmasters pin Sixshot, Daniel leaps onto his back and begins whaling on his noggin. Sixshot's had enough of this noise and disappears in a burst of ninja smoke and flashing lights. As the Headmasters are left coughing in a cloud of smoke, Chromedome wonders where Daniel went.
With purloined lunchbox in hand, Sixshot swoops down to a nearby planet, giggling over his thorough victory and referring to himself as a "Devil King of Space" because he's just so evil. Upon landing on the lush forest planet, the real reason Sixshot stole all those goodies becomes immediately apparent: he brought them to feed a bunch of adorable woodland critters! As Sixshot waxes on about the innocence of squirrels and the serenity of their peaceful forest planet, Daniel pops up behind him and remarks that Sixshot's actually a big ole softy.
Fatally embarassed, Sixshot reaches behind himself to find that Daniel had hitched a ride on his back the whole time (ninja master indeed). Daniel removes his exosuit and says that since Sixshot's not such a bad guy, he should leave the Decepticons and switch sides. Sixshot begins going on with the usual ninja honor mumbo-jumbo when suddenly Daniel gets shot in the arm!
As a pair of armored vehicles approach, Sixshot recognizes them as ruthless Space Hunters who travel the universe, killin' stuff. Daniel seems fine with his flesh wound, but Sixshot instructs him to stay back so that he doesn't get hurt.
Sixshot then transforms from Shot 1 (robot mode) to Shot 2 (jet mode) and strafes the Hunters. One of the hunters laughs and recognizes that Sixshot will make an excellent trophy. They fire back, but Sixshot transforms to Shot 3 (laser gun mode) and returns fire. He then transforms to Shot 4 (battle car mode), Shot 5 (tank mode) and Shot 6 (wolf mode) and continues his assault. At last, he announces he has one more mode in store for the Space Hunters, who refuse to believe that Sixshot could turn into more than six things. He then transforms to "Wingwolf" mode (with Daniel riding comfortably on his back) and swoops in for the final blast. The Space Hunters then flee back into space in abject terror.
As Sixshot bandages up Daniel's arm, Daniel makes his offer to bring him into the Autobots a second time. Sixshot again refuses, saying that as long as Galvatron is loyal to him, he must serve Galvatron. Sixshot then gives Daniel a speech about power and honor, sends an SOS to planet Athenia so the Autobots can come rescue him and flies off into space. Daniel sees him off and remarks that Sixshot is a magnificent Transformer and hopefully one day his inner goodness can shine.

Notes
- Sixshot's "Wingwolf" mode also appeared in "Ultra Magnus Dies!!". Considering Daniel's willingness to be best buddies with Sixshot, this issue likely takes place before that episode, since Sixshot kills Ultra Magnus in it and earns Daniel's scorn. With that in mind, that would make this the first appearance of Sixshot's "Wingwolf" mode.
- Galvatron will eventually betray Sixshot and wind up being buried alive in an iceberg because of it in "The Emperor of Destruction Vanishes on an Iceberg", thus freeing Sixshot (more or less) from his oath of loyalty.
- This issue seemingly contradicts the later episode "My Friend Sixshot!" in which Daniel and Sixshot once again wind up alone on a planet together and are forced to team-up, with Daniel yet again discovering that Sixshot ain't such a bad guy. In that episode, Daniel despises Sixshot and makes no reference to having once tried to be his friend. Of course, Daniel's opinion of Sixshot may have changed after he killed Ultra Magnus, thus the need for Sixshot to prove his inner goodness to Daniel all over again.
