All these contradictions mentioned in the notes simply prove that the Manga and the cartoons are two different but similar continuities that split away from each other early in the series. e.g there is no time for issue 7 to take place in the cartoons. These pages should be corrected to reflect this--Ryangut (talk) 12:28, 18 January 2018 (EST)

Do you have a purpose besides randomly bringing up continuity on talk pages? The original G1 cartoon couldn't keep its own continuity straight, but we don't split up contradictory stuff into their own continuities because that's pointlessly ridiculous. A comic issue treading the same ground as an episode isn't much of a contradiction. Saix (talk) 13:10, 18 January 2018 (EST)
And didn't the KP timeline put all these together anyway? Or am I misremembering? If it did, we can't very well contradict an official source. --Khajidha (talk) 14:01, 18 January 2018 (EST)
The timeline excluded all of the G1 era manga, other than the iffiness of the post-Victory stuff. Saix (talk) 14:49, 18 January 2018 (EST)
Okay. Thanks for the clarification--Khajidha (talk) 16:57, 18 January 2018 (EST)
I don't think it really matters. We don't break the G1 cartoon up into 3 splinter timelines just because it kept effing up the origin of the Constructicons. Notating the continuity discrepancy in the article and moving along seems intuitive to me. It's worked for the past 10 years, I don't see what harm it's doing now. --DrSpengler (talk) 14:18, 18 January 2018 (EST)
