The Predacons set a trap for the Autobots in Antarctica, stealing diamonds from a mine. To their surprise, instead of the expected Autobot Brothers, the Build Team turned up instead. Sky-Byte took their leader, Wedge captive, trading the young bot for a disk supposedly containing the plans for the Autobot Global Space Bridge which was promptly stolen by one of the many penguins inhabiting the continent.
