General Grievous is a Kaleesh Separatist general in Star Wars.

General Grievous has trained in the art of lightsaber combat with the evil Count Dooku. He is skilled in several unorthodox fighting techniques, such as a "furious four-lightsaber assault", and has used these skills to cut down several Jedi Knights. Now, Grievous changes into Wheel Bike mode to hunt and destroy Obi-Wan Kenobi and the remaining Jedi.<ref>Star Wars Transformers General Grievous / Wheel Bike package</ref> He is the leader of the Separatist army, which apparently has lots of droids.<ref>Star Wars Transformers Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter package</ref> We're repeatedly told that he's much-feared, and he is guarded by his personal bodyguards, the MagnaGuards.<ref>Crossovers MagnaGuard / MagnaGuard Starfighter package</ref>

He seems to be a raging religious bigot against Jedi. But what manner of being is this Grievous?

Toys

Star Wars Transformers

He's very proud of his little brother.
  • General Grievous / Wheel Bike (2006)
    • Accessories: Missile, gun, 2 lightsabers (green & blue), General Grievous figure
Grievous transforms into a Wheel Bike, equipped with a laser cannon and a side-mounted cockpit.
Like all the initial Star Wars toys, the toy includes a tiny figure of the actual character, who can sit in the pilot's seat to operate the vehicle form.

Crossovers

  • General Grievous to Grievous Starfighter (Star Wars, 2008)
    • Accessories: Missile, 2 lightsabers (green & blue)
As the name suggests, this version of General Grievous transforms into his own starfighter. It comes with two lightsabers, one green and one blue, and a hand-held blaster with spring-loaded missile. The blaster doesn't fit in either of his hands very well, and it can't be stored anywhere while Grievous is in robot mode. While the arms and legs have excellent articulation, his waist is held in place due to the large amount of kibble connected at the waist locking into his back during transformation. His head can turn from side to side. Like all of the Crossovers figures, it does not come with a pilot mini-figure, but still has an opening cockpit with space for one, specifically the Grievous mini-figure from the previous mold of the character.
Later runs of the toy uses different packaging that adds an apostrophe to the toy's name, making it "Grievous' Starfighter".
