Disambig parenthetical?
Why? - Jackpot 21:30, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- there's an unnamed Decepticon medic in Devil's Due Joe vs. TF too. -Derik 21:38, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Can we merge them? Or since they are no-names, can we come up with different nicknames, like "Silver Decepticon medic" and "Neon Decepticon medic"? - Starfield 00:27, 23 April 2009 (EDT)
- Dunno about a merge, but different nicknames seems like a good idea (Jim said a year later.) --Jimsorenson 17:04, 16 February 2010 (EST)
- The names they have now are the simplest possible. Giving each a nickname would simply make them harder to find. There's very little to either character besides their being Decepticon medics, I vote merge. Khajidha 08:23, 21 February 2010 (EST) (Coming back to claim my post)
- The Devil's Due guy isn't at all any kind of homage to the Marvel guy, so if they were merged I would say call the page "Decepticon medics" so it is clear we aren't claiming they aren't the same character. It's funny that there aren't any actual non-generic Decepticon medics for this page to be confused with. - Starfield 18:00, 21 February 2010 (EST)
- I like Decepticon medics. Or Decepticon medic. --ItsWalky 18:09, 21 February 2010 (EST)
- I think, in this case, medics is more clear, in that we're not claiming that they are in fact the same guy. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.167.228.223 (talk • contribs) 22:03, February 21, 2010 (EDT).
- On second thought, "Decepticon medics" sounds like a general job description but we are not including all Decepticon medics like Flatline. - Starfield 23:31, 21 February 2010 (EST)
- I think a similar case - and good example of a template - would be the page I created for Maccadam's bartenders which lists otherwise unrelated characters (from different continuities, even) by profession under a singular header. Doesn't the same sort of case apply here? --Emvee 05:17, 22 February 2010 (EST)
- Perhaps "Unnamed Decepticon medics" could be used to clarify that we are not referring to named characters who happen to be both Decepticons and medics. 97.82.152.134 06:10, 22 February 2010 (EST)
