Y-wing

Y-wings are starships from the Star Wars universe.

Y-wings are ground-attack aircraft used by the Galactic Republic in the battle against the Confederacy. The ships are equipped with missiles and the ability to transform into mechs, and are known to be piloted by Clone Pilots and Anakin Skywalker.

The name of the Y-wings seems to be derived from them being roughly Y-shaped, and they likely have some relation to X-wings.

The Y-wing toy transforms from a white and yellow starship to a robot mode based on a Clone Pilot, and features a firing two-pronged missile in its nose and flip-out landing gear. In robot mode, the nose detaches to form a handheld missile launcher.

A retool of the Y-wing Pilot toy, changing the head and upper torso to resemble Anakin. The robot's torso and arms are also colored after Anakin, while the vehicle mode is still white and yellow (albeit with a new paint layout).
