Notes
- Fan site Seibertron first broke the news of Exodus, and assumed it was a tie-in to Transformers: War for Cybertron. [1] It's not yet determined known for sure which continuity it will be, however.
- The book's Amazon entry has told us that pre-war Cybertron is a caste-based system, and Megatron, a thuggish gladiator, challenges this with a cry of "Freedom is every Cybertronian's right!". Orion Pax, a mere and meek office clerk, determines "to meet this defiant enemy of all that Cybertron stands for, no matter what he has to do, or how many laws he has to break". (Probably cos Megatron is killing people rather than because he said "castes are bad!", but the way the solicit's written...)
- The synopsis boldly declares "everything that happened before Optimus and Megatron arrived on planet Earth—has always been a mystery", which is a bit of a fib. Two recent stories set in the past, Megatron Origin and The War Within, appear to be contributing elements (Megs as a working class rebel gladiator and Optimus as a former data clerk, respectively). Megatron's gladiator roots, of course, go all the way back to 1986's "State Games".
