The cloaked mystery villain is a giant spectral entity, able to form itself from a translucent blob of crimson fire. Just who or what it is... only the Japanese may know.

The cloaked mystery villain appeared hovering in front of the Earth, arms stretched out, no doubt plotting villainy on a global scale. Its allegience or methods unknown, it apparently wasn't friends with the Autobots. It later showed up on Earth, uncloaked, revealing itself to be some sort of massive robot (whose frame couldn't have possibly fit under that cloak the way it did, but whatever). Optimus Prime defeated it with a punch of burning justice. Animated title sequence (Japan)
Notes
- Just what the Hell is up with this guy? Who is he? He could conceivably be an interpretation of Megatron, whose threat loomed over the sum of the series, but doesn't exactly bear the likeness. It's quite possible he may just be a poetic personaification of evil incarnate, too. We may never know.
