You are troubled, Autoboto-san.

Hiroyuki Otoboto (音仏ひろゆき Otoboto Hiroyuki), head of the Otoboto family, is totally the Tommy Kennedy of Japan. His wife is Megumi and together they have two children, daughter Yūka and son Tatsuya. A fan of Transformers since the original series, Hiroyuki loves spending his day off watching Transformers Animated with his son. We may never find out what his actual job is.

Apparently he and his family will explain some of the obscurities of the Animated mythos to the Japanese audience... or something.

Back when he was a kid in the 80s, Hiroyuki used to adore the original Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers cartoon. Now an adult with children of his own, he became thrilled with the newest incarnation of the Transformers brand, Animated. Gathering in the living room with his son, Tatsuya, they both praised the premier episode. As a special surprise, Hiroyuki lavished upon Tatsuya a complete set of Animated Autobot toys. Unfortunately, before father and son could begin epic playtime, Mrs. Otoboto and Hiroyuki's daughter, Yūka, arrived for dinner time. Tatsuya then used his bizarre ability to stop time to "freeze" his (still-blinking) family so that he could introduce himself to the audience, and mess with his dad's glasses, too. Then unfrozen, Hiroyuki proceeded to fix his glasses and dig into his meal, only to discover that it was too hot! A New Chapter! Transformers

Some time after that, Hiroyuki joined his son on the living room carpet, seeing if his Optimus Prime toy could defeat Tatsuya's Bumblebee toy. Suddenly, a noise rang out from the kitchen! Activating his own transformation sequence, Hiroyuki "transformed" into an Optimus Prime t-shirt in order to meet the danger. Unfortunately, before he could go battle the forces of evil in the kitchen, he had to lay back down on the carpet and finish transforming his Optimus Prime. The Heroes Are Called Autobots

Sadly, despite what Tatsuya thinks, Hiroyuki doesn't spend all his time playing with toys and does actually have to work. Observing his father chatting on his celphone, Tatsuya flashed back to a week ago when they were playing with their toys and bumped into Yūka. Yūka, thinking her father a tremendous manchild, proceeded to give him a letter from someone he thought had died many years ago. Secret of the AllSpark
