Skyburst is an Autobot Commander from Power Core Combiners.

Bursting through the sky comes a fearful cry!

Skyburst isn't sure he deserves being equipped with the Aerialbot drones. To be one of the first given control over Power Core drones is an amazing honor bestowed upon only the best of the best, but Skyburst is just a search and rescue expert. Surely the drones should go to the 'Bots on the frontlines. Skyburst doesn't understand that his dedication to helping the helpless is more than deserving of recognition.

• Skyburst with Aerialbots (Commander Class, 2010)

Part of the first wave of Power Core Combiners 5 Packs, Skyburst is a Scout-size jet who transforms into a robot. His drones, the Aerialbots, can automatically transform from vehicle to limb using Automorph Technology when clipped onto Skyburst. When detached, they transform back to vehicle mode.

Unfortunately, Skyburst and his drones have several design flaws and quality control issues. Skyburst suffers from the problem of the spring-loaded, automorphing drones being unable to provide solid, stable feet to balance the combined mode. Meanwhile, the folded-out hands on the arm drones do not lock into place, and thus "flop around" during play. In general the drones have a tendency to detach from Skyburst when they are moved.
