Ion Displacer

An Ion Displacer is a usable weapon in the War for Cybertron portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

One of the more powerful weapons on Cybertron, the Ion Displacer is usually found attached to a turret base and behaves like a heavy machine gun. Cybertronians with a streak of Rambo in them can rip them from their restraints and carry them around. Once detached, their ammo becomes limited. They also restrict movement and will be dropped upon transformation. Ion Displacers can also be found in the hands of Heavy Soldiers, who will leave them behind after defeat.
