- A Photon Burst Rifle is a weapon from the War for Cybertron portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Scientist's version of the sniper rifle is named the Photon Burst Rifle. It has a more effective zoom than the Battle Pistol and delivers three photons per round.
