Hook transforms into a gigantic truss crane. When combined with his fellow Constructicons, he forms the left arm of Devastator.

Toys

Takara reissued the seven Legend class Constructicons in G1 inspired green and purple color schemes. Hook is a redeco of Hightower.

The first, movie-colored EZ Devastator shares all names with the Hasbro version. This G1-inspired redeco renamed two of the Constructicons, Hightower into Hook, and Rampage into Bonecrusher, thus creating two new Constructicons.
Hook replaces Hightower in the Devastator combination. Hightower was the name used by Hasbro when "Hook" wasn't available; TakaraTomy does not have said problem in their markets.
