The Skyboom shield is the main defensive tool of Sentinel Prime. The outer rim can separate and expand an energy field to shield beings other than Sentinel. It can withstand very heavy attacks, and would allow Sentinel to be an effective warrior if he weren't such an arrogant jerk.
