During the Great War, the Ministry of Science created a weapon of mass destruction as a last card against the Decepticons. TransWarped This resulted in the Omega Sentinels. The AllSpark Almanac Volume 2 Centuries later, the Ministry was tasked in doing the seemingly impossible: create Autobots that can fly from two refinery bots. Not only was the project successful, the two Autobots, Jetfire and Jetstorm, were spontaneously able to merge into one Autobot named Safeguard.
