Transformers Cards

The Transformers Cards are cards containing barcodes to be used in the Transformers Animated: The Chase and Transformers Animated: The Shooting arcade card-reading games. Most of the cards contain Animated characters, but a few contain Generation 1 characters, often based on their Masterpiece toys.
As should be unsurprising, there are varying levels of rarity. Sega's site has the rating base from no stars to three stars. The majority of the cards are normal with no star; one star indicates "silver rare" with a silver shine; two stars indicates "gold rare" with a gold shine; and three stars is "master rare" with both gold and silver.

Notes
- There's a bit of a variation between the ones numbered here and the promotion cards that can be obtained with the purchase of toys, DVDs, and magazines (TV Magazine, TV Kun, and Kerokero Ace), in that promotional cards start with a "P" instead of "A" or "D" and the artwork is cartoon stills.
- The September 2010 issue of Kerokero Ace came packaged with a card variant (labeled P-001C) of Optimus swinging his axe as drawn by Tsushima. This card also bore Optimus' tech specs.
