Fiction

IDW comics continuity

After the Autobot leader Optimus Prime surrendered himself to Skywatch, Henderson observed Spike's fruitless attempts to interrogate their prisoner. He was of the opinion that coercing Prime to talk was not needed, as Skywatch would simply take the alien elsewhere and take whatever information they wanted out of him. Acting on a hunch that Prime's surrender would put the Autobots in disarray, Spike ordered Henderson to put Pennington and Campologno's team on alert for Autobots that may be wandering around. A Rude Awakening

A week later, Henderson listened as Spike aired his concerns about having little to show since Optimus Prime surrendered himself and tried to convince him otherwise when Witwicky admitted his insecurities about his leadership. Seasons in Flight After Spike had an enlightening chat with Optimus Prime, Henderson reported the schedule for the next meeting with the Skywatch generals and watched his commander leave in Breakdown, who had been commandeered as Spike's personal transport. Enemies of the System After rescuing Spike from a river after he was attacked by the rest of the Stunticons, Henderson and Campologno discovered that the Stunticons had combined into the titanic combiner Menasor and was currently attacking the Autobots. Henderson was shocked to see another combiner, as he hadn't seen once since Devastator attacked New York City. Returning to base, Spike convinced Optimus Prime to get out of his funk and help Skywatch assist the Autobots in fighting Menasor. Though the other Skywatch personnel objected to Spike unilaterally freeing their prisoner, Henderson backed him up and piloted the aerial transport. Earthworks
