Talk:Optimus Prime (Animated)/toys
From MediaWiki
Jump to navigationJump to searchWingblade Optimus Prime is a retool of Deluxe The Battle Begins Two-pack Optimus Prime in much the same style as Hydrodive Bumblebee and Samurai Prowl.
- I don't actually believe this is correct - if I recall the BotCon panel correctly, Hasbro's Wingblade Prime was straight-up the Battle Begins figure with snap-on armor, with Eric assuring us he had worked out (with the Takara guys) a way for the armor to work on both the deluxe and the Voyager figures (which is why, I assume, Takara is now using it with the Voyager). Should this be changed? --Monzo 08:28, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
- Wasn't there, couldn't tell ya. The deluxe is at least redecoed, though, isn't it? - Chris McFeely 08:34, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
Happy Meals toy
Where is the McDonald's Happy Meal toy? Zakor1138 22:18, 21 August 2010 (EDT)
- No, wait. Never mind, I found it. Why is it in merchandise though?Zakor1138 22:21, 21 August 2010 (EDT)
- I think a better question would be "why aren't Happy Meal premiums ALWAYS in merchandise"? --Khajidha 10:48, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
- Yeah. Happy Meal toys should be under Merch, I think. --Monzo 11:14, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
- But they transform. - Starfield 11:23, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
- So do Kabaya kits, and they are merchandise (at least on the page I checked). --Khajidha 11:38, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
- I think the original post asking for "Happy Meal TOY" might be hint for where these things belong. --ItsWalky 12:04, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
- But many things listed as "Merchandise" on this wiki are "toys" in the general, non-wiki sense. RPMs and ZipZaps for example. Also, movie Optimus' Burger King premiums are listed as Merchandise. This has been discussed before. If toy is meant in the real world sense, then there's a lot of things that need to be moved. --Khajidha 07:40, 29 August 2010 (EDT)
- Well, then should we move ALL the TF McDonald's toys in existence be listed in merchandise? Might as well. Zakor1138 22:37, 29 August 2010 (EDT)
