Hiroya Ishimaru
Hiroya Ishimaru (石丸 博也, Ishimaru Hiroya) is a Japanese voice actor who was born on February 12, 1941 in Sendai, Miyagi as Shinji Ishide (石出 伸二, Ishide Shinji). He is most famous for performing the role of Kōji Kabuto in the 1972 series Mazinger Z, but is also well-known as the Japanese dubbing actor for Jackie Chan.
During Kiss Players, Ryōtarō Okiayu played the part of Rodimus, but patterned his performance after Ishimaru's.
Hiroya Ishimaru (石丸 博也 Ishimaru Hiroya) is a veteran Japanese voice actor. He was born as Shinji Ishide (石出 伸二, Ishide Shinji) on February 12, 1941 in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
He is known for playing some of anime's most classic heroes, including Kōji Kabuto from Mazinger Z and its related series, and Jan Kūgo (an SF version of Son Gokū) from Starzinger, as well as high supporting roles in series like Godmars and GoDannar.
