Optimus Prime lived long ago, in a dimension that has since been destroyed. He was killed by Megazarak, who left his remains to disintegrate on the edges of the Rust Sea. Unicron cloned this Prime and twisted the clone into Nemesis Prime. Balancing Act, Part 2
