Dinobot (PCC)

The Dinobots are a series of Autobot drones from Power Core Combiners.

The Dinobots are four robot dinosaurs who can combine with their Commander Grimstone to power him up in battle. They consist of a Dimetrodon, a Parasaurolophus, a Pachycephalosaurus and an Ankylosaurus.

• Grimstone with Dinobots (Power Core Combiners 5-pack, 2010?)

The Dinobots are available with their commander Grimstone, who transforms into a robotic Styracosaurus. They automatically transform from dinosaurs to limbs using Automorph Technology when clipped onto Grimstone's torso mode. When detached, they transform back into their beast modes.

Notes

• Dimetrodon is not actually a dinosaur. As a synapsid, it is actually a mammal-precursor. Inclusion of non-dinosaurs within the Dinobot roster is not a new development.
• Amusingly, the combination scheme used by the PPC Dinobots (Styracosaur body; Pachycephalosaur, Dimetrodon, Ankylosaur and Parasaurolophus limbs) is virtually identical to that of the MaxRyuuOh/Triceramax Megazord from Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger/Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
