Talk:Darkness Rising, Part 2
From MediaWiki
Someone posted a continuity error for this episode stating that Dark Energon was a new discovery. Indeed Megatron found a new source for dark energon, but Arcee references it when they are talking about it back at the base saying that was the stuff the Decepticons experimented with during the Great War. So it is not a continuity error.
- I believe she said that what happened to Cliffjumper was like experiments the Decepticons performed during the war. As far as I recall, she made no actual reference to Dark Energon itself. -- Semysane 03:06, 28 November 2010 (EST)
The mention of Unicron is is an obvious reference to the Unicron of several series, namely G1. Also, Unicron from G1 had the ability to bring back the dead, giving the ghost of Starscream a new body. The fact that "Unicron's Blood" brings back the dead is a reference to this as well. I'm unsure as to why others will not allow these facts to go under "Transformers References"
- Because Unicron has never used his "blood" to resurrect anyone before, and Starscream's resurrection was only possible because he has an immortal spark. And there is no Unicron of G1, there is only one Unicron. One cannot be a reference to oneself. --Khajidha 18:19, 28 November 2010 (EST)
