The Omega Sentinels were a mass-produced line of weapons of mass destruction sharing the same body-type as Omega Supreme. They were created as part of Project Omega. Prior to the Sentinels proper, at least four prototypes were created. The 1/12th scale Mark IV prototype, Omega S.P.R.E.E.M., is an example.

Notes
- Most of the Sentinels' bond-partners are Transformers Animated versions of important Autobot leaders from other continuities:
- Optimus Primal is the heroic Maximal leader of the Beast Wars.
- Big Bang was originally going to be the Supreme Commander in Zone
- Silverbolt, Scattershot, and Hot Spot are leaders of the Special Teams.
- Impactor has led the Wreckers.
- Railspike is leader of Team Bullet Train.
- Wedge leads the Build Team.
- Override is the leader of Velocitron.
- Ultra Magnus has led the Autobots entire, from time to time.
- God knows why Longrack made the list.
- Most of the Sentinels' ship-names refer to Autobot (or Maximal) ships from other continuities:
- Axalon from Beast Wars
- Gung Ho from Beast Wars Neo
- Steelhaven from Marvel's Generation 1 comics
- Darkstar from Marvel's Generation 2 comics
- Eclipse and Iron Hope from the Timelines portion of the Unicron Trilogy
- Orion from Dreamwave's Generation 1 comics
- Xantium from IDW's Generation 1 comics
- Hyperion from Armada
- Chromia 10 ("X" for "10" in Roman numerals) from Timeline issue "Dawn of Future's Past"
- The frequent use of "Major" in the bond-partners' names above is the primary evidence for a "Major" rank in the Animated universe, presumably lying between Minor and Prime.

- In "Transform and Roll Out", Optimus Prime viewed a history vid of the Great War that featured towering Transformers with cannons on their left arms and transparent faceplates. Though they strongly resemble the Sentinels, they differ in many details from their depiction in The AllSpark Almanac II. Either these are some other towering robots we don't know about, or the vid is not completely accurate.
- As you can see, Blackout is very good at destroying Sentinels.
- Most of the Omega Sentinels were planned to make a cameo in TransWarped, but their scene was cut for time.
