Clone Wars

The Clone Wars is an event from the Star Wars universe.

The Clone Wars is a series of armed conflicts between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy. Little is known about the background or motives behind it, though it appears to be named after the Clone Troopers employed by the Republic, who are up against hordes of Confederacy Battle Droids. With both sides making use of easily mass-produced troops, it comes as no surprise that the war has spread throughout space and across numerous planets, much like the Great War of the Transformers. Transforming battle suits are also commonplace among both Republic and Separatist combatants.

The Jedi also fought on the side of the Republic during the war, though the clone soldiers turned on them after a mysterious event known only as "Order 66".
