- Hot Spot is an Autobot Protectobot from the Universe conflict.
A member of the Micromaster Protectobots, Hot Spot fights against the forces of the evil Unicron. His relationship to any other "Hot Spot" is unknown.

Hot Spot was one of the many Transformers held in the Cauldron, the death-pit deep within the shattered remains of Unicron. He and the other Protectobots formed Defensor when Trailbreaker and Silverbolt released the prisoners, making a break for freedom. Escape
Hot Spot's only appearance in the comic is as Defensor's arm.

- An exclusive to Kay-Bee stores, Hot Spot is a nearly identical release of the Micromaster Collection version of Neo-Wheel, transforming into a Lamborghini Diablo. He can attach to the combiner kibble to form the chest, back, or any limb of any combination of compatible Micromaster robots, but not very well; he's the least awkward in his nominal placement as Defensor's right arm (and is really only compatible with the Defensor fists).
- The larger connector socket is approximately 5mm wide, making Hot Spot compatible with Powerlinx ports. Since it's a separate piece on a hinge, it's also the only one of the entire Six-team series that doesn't leave the Micromaster sticking out at an awkward angle when used as such.
