The Transformers: Prime toyline hits shelves on either October 1 or October 11, 2011, depending on which news source you trust.[1][2] Beforehand, there had been much doubt as to whether there would be a toyline, partially because of the complex CG designs, and Hasbro considered releasing Optimus, Bumblebee and Starscream in the Generations line before deciding the show warranted its own label.[3]
