New York City?

Are we certain that the setting in this episode is New York City? I have seen both the fandubbed and the fansub version of this episode and in the fansub, they don't acknowledge it being New York as oppose to the fandubbed, which appears to be very loose to the original dialogue.

Just that the tower Primal looks nothing like the Empire State Building, but rather, Tokyo Tower.

Just that I am iffy in the wiki calling it New York city since there are no mention of it in the original dialogue. However, if there is any translated material source that confirms, then it would be helpful to source it.
