Clyde spotted Joey Slick, who had just survived his ordeal with Whitey and Marko, and threw a football at him. Slick threw it back to Clyde in an impressive display, which wowed the group of boys. One boy remarked that he would be playing for the Seattle Seahawks if he had such throwing talent.
Slick later walked the same street, after making it big by robbing a bank, and the kids disowned their enjoyment of football and the N.F.L. Looking up to Joey, they reasoned they could grow up to also be bank robbers. This alarmed Joey. Shooting Star!
