A Rodimus Prime Christmas.
Synopsis
Knowing that the Autobots will fully understand the significance of the "treasure" he has discovered, Scrapheap sends out a call to them. While waiting for their arrival, he stares up at space and reflects on his lot, tired of being nothing more than a scavenger and junk-peddler and wanting something more exciting out of life. He recalls seeing a television program from Earth once, which spoke of a saint who brings presents to people all over that planet on one day out of the year—this day, in fact—but sadly concludes that this "Santa Claus" is unlikely to pay a visit to anywhere as remote as Junk. The sudden appearance of a light in the sky momentarily makes Scrapheap think his doubts are ill-founded... but of course, it's merely the Autobot shuttle arriving, rather than a saint from another planet.
Rodimus Prime disembarks from the shuttle, and inquires about the "treasure" Scrapheap has found, justifiably uncertain as to how valuable it could truly be given that Scrapheap is one of the Junkions, not exactly known for their valuation abilities. Scrapheap assures him that it is very valuable, and when he hands over the piece of metal he found, Rodimus immediately realizes why: it is a piece of Optimus Prime's armor, broken off some unknowable time ago in a forgotten battle on another world, where it became just so much junk, and so eventually wound its way to Junk. Physically, of course, it is worthless—just piece of scrap metal—but to Rodimus Prime, it is a priceless reminder of his predecessor. Kup remarks that this discovery was definitely worth having to sneak out of the party that Daniel was having, and wishes Rodimus a Merry Christmas.

Notes
- The Christmas setting of this chapter is quite deliberate, released as it was on Christmas Eve 2010.
Errors
- e-Hobby were a bit on the confused side when providing the official English title of this chapter, which we have used as the article name; it's more accurately "A Gift from the Scrap Planet", where "scrap" is a descriptor for Junk itself, rather than the name of the heretofore unheard of "Planet Scrap", as this translation makes it sound.
- "Santa Claus" is written in katakana as サンタークロス (Santā Kurosu). This is hilariously interpreted by the English translation as "Thunder Cross".
