Artemis & Moon II Report

"Artemis & Moon II Report" (アルテミス&ムーンII通信 Artemis & Moon Second Tsūshin) is a short segment of the Beast Wars II cartoon, hosted by the title characters Moon and Artemis, two mysterious bots stationed on the moon of Gaea. During these sessions, the duo would report upon and discuss the events and participants of the battles taking place on the post-apocalyptic world. However, as Moon would oftentimes become distracted, or lacked the necessary tact when speaking to his fellow host, these reports would usually quickly dissolve into brief incidents of violence between the two...

Security seemed somewhat lacking when concerning the set from where the report was broadcast, as oftentimes the Predacons or Maximals being commented upon would butt in and make their opinions known to Moon and Artemis, along with whatever audience they had.

Notes

• The "Artemis & Moon II Report" is not in continuity with the actual plot of the series, but just a light-hearted way to fill twenty-two minutes.

• The first three episodes of the series featured either Tasmania Kid or Lio Convoy relaying info to the audience. The "Artemis & Moon II Report" did not begin until the fourth episode, "The Lake Trap".
