Talk:Insecticon (Movie)
ROTF
It's been suggested that that little Decepticon that flies into the building and is pulled apart by Sam in the third act was supposed to be an Insecticon. Has anyone else heard this? 98.235.18.165 19:58, 3 July 2009 (EDT)
- I'm quite sure I remember an interview where someone (Bay, Orci, Kurtzman) said that there was an Insecticon in TF2 as an early tease. -Derik 20:40, 3 July 2009 (EDT)

Concept Art
Not quite sure how to integrate this. Also not sure if this means the thingie should be at Insect Scout, but then the upcoming toy is called Insecticon, so... I guess he's Insecticon, the Insect Scout. --Monzo 09:20, 21 February 2010 (EST)
Toy a different character?
From Bumblebee and Ravage's new bios, it doesn't seem like the toy character could be a tiny insect that Sam could pull apart with his fingers. Ravage asks Insecticon to help him fight Bumblebee. Should we split? - Starfield 15:50, 29 May 2010 (EDT)
- I'd advocate waiting for Insecticon's bio itself. I forsee a Scrapmetal (Cybertron individual)/Scrapmetal (race) situation. - Chris McFeely 16:02, 29 May 2010 (EDT)
- Hasbro said at Toy Fair that he was the bug seen in the movie. Also, holy god, Starfield, all it says on these bios is that Insecticon is helping Ravage find Bumblebee. Finding people is basically all the tiny insect guy did in the movie. It's not saying anything about Insecticon being a mighty super endurable warrior. Please stop splitting hairs where there are no hairs to be split. --ItsWalky 16:44, 29 May 2010 (EDT)
- The bios read to me like it is talking about a Decepticon about Ravage's size and power. Ravage's bio says, "The two beast-bots stalk through the shadows" which I took to mean both Ravage and Insecticon were stalking and I couldn't picture a tiny bug-bot "stalking". Plus it says Ravage and Insecticon encircled Bumblebee in the gloom. I can't really picture Ravage and a tiny insect encircling anybody. If I interpreted it wrong, I interpreted it wrong. - Starfield 20:28, 29 May 2010 (EDT)

Insecticon is pretty big in "The Strongest Weapon". Does that character warrant its own page? —Interrobang 02:40, 26 May 2011 (EDT)
- I highly doubt it, it seems to me that these are just varied interpretations of the same character (be they wildly inaccurate when placed next to the movie or not). Unless we see them in the same place at the same time or something explicitly saying that they are different characters, I would vote for leave it be. - Terrortron 00:45, 27 May 2011 (EDT)
