American Greetings

Founded circa 1905 in Cleveland, Ohio, American Greetings is a U.S. based greeting card and novelty corporation. Throughout the years, American Greetings has offered a variety of licensed Transformers merchandise, both through its American Greetings line and through its Carlton Cards subsidiary. The company also created or owns the rights to several properties, such as the Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Maryoku Yummy, and Twisted Whiskers; many of these properties currently have shows airing on The Hub.
Note that as American Greetings is one of Hasbro's biggest licensees, the lists here are probably never going to ever be 100% complete.
Generation 1
Heirloom ornaments
AG's "heirloom" ornaments are distributed through their Carlton Cards arm. They are made from cold-cast porcelain and carefully painted, and weigh a ton — you'd better have a big ol' tree if you want to hang these bad boys.
- Optimus Prime (2007)
- The first Generation 1-branded offering, and the first Transformers-themed heirloom ornament, it features a three-dimensional Optimus Prime running towards something. The sculpting is based entirely on the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime figure.
- Megatron (2008)
- This one features Megatron posing ominously. It appears to be based entirely on the Revoltech figure.
- Bumblebee (2009)
- This third G1-themed offering features Bumblebee posing dramatically on a hunk of rock bearing the Autobot sigil. The sculpt appears to be an entirely original depiction of Bumblebee's first body.
