The name or term "John" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see John (disambiguation).

John McCrea (1966–) is an Irish comic book artist. In addition to working on famous UK comic 2000 AD and its lead character Judge Dredd, he is most famous for his collaborations with fellow potty-mouthed Irishman Garth Ennis, including the creation of Hitman.

McCrea is currently illustrating "How to Draw" features for the UK's Transformers comic published by Titan, teaching kids how to render the complicated forms of the movie 'bots.

Except... rather than actually, y'know, cover basic stuff like geometric shapes, proportion, structure, or anything that would help you build an original drawing from the ground up, he just shows you how to copy a line-drawing over four pages.

His time is also occupied with really not getting how the Animated design aesthetic works.

Bloody Irish!
