I'm not sure if we need to link to sources or anything, but the comment from Don about the Xantium's design is here: [1]. - Dark T Zeratul 06:15, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Ah. I went looking at Don's old Macromasters kitbashes to see if it was based on anything, but I guess he altered Stronghold enough to make it not a close enough match to call. Hmm. How or if to deal with it... --ItsWalky 06:17, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Fort Max was my ortiginal guess- but when i checked the pics, it's ust... not. I'd say 'loosely inspired by'.
The Transformation scheme is moot- in Japan Fort Max flies in base mode, in the US he flies in city mode. -Derik 08:49, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Well, Chris Ryall's stated [2] that the Xantium is not a Transformer. Do we accept this as a clarification, and thus canon, or author intent? - RolonBolon 18:48, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

But it's got fists! I think we need some clarification on what he means by "not a Transformer." Perhaps he means "not one of the characters you know of as toys who are Transformers that have been sold in stores yadda yadda"? --ItsWalky 18:58, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
