Apollo 11
Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that landed the first humans on Earth's natural Moon. On July 20, 1969, the U.S. astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin were the first humans to leave their homeworld of earth and land on another celestial body, something that other, more advanced species may take for granted but is considered a major accomplishment in the history of human space exploration.

The Apollo 11 mission contained the first manned human craft to reach the moon. Unknown to most people, this also served as an elaborate cover for the secret launch of Ghost 1, a far more advanced spacecraft reverse-engineered from alien technology. Ghosts of Yesterday
Dark of the Moon film
At one point, the Ark crashed on the Moon, with Sentinel Prime and other Autobots aboard. This event was detected by the United States government and investigating this was deemed important enough to send a manned crew to the moon, with the excuse of beating the Russians as a cover story for the true objective of investigating the alien ship.Dark of the Moon
