Transformers: Beast Wars Diorama Story
Transformers: Beast Wars Diorama Story is a series of video shorts found on the DVDs packed with the Beast Wars Telemocha Series figures. They depict those same figures in pre-posed positions, playing out a battle (honestly, calling it a "story" is a bit generous) on a diorama landscape through a series of still scenes, with the occasional "laser blast" or "explosion" special effect added in post-production.
Each chapter begins with a recap of the storyline behind the Beast Wars and a description of the Telemocha Series character line-up. This takes up the bulk of the chapter content, with the individual "battles" being simply displays of each character's unique attacks and weaponry.
Later installments in the Diorama Story series introduced a cross-promotion with the Japanese release of the live-action movie Fast Action Battlers toyline, adding those toys into the dioramas and presenting a scenario that saw the Autobots and Decepticons of the movie universe somehow being transported into the midst of the Beast Wars. Head-scratchingly, the events of this cross-promotion were deemed to be officially part of Japanese cartoon continuity by Takara's 2007 timeline.
