Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen — The Score is an album featuring the original instrumental music composed by Steve Jablonsky for the live-action sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Unlike the delayed limited release of the first movie's score album, this score was released by Reprise Records on June 23, 2009, the same day as Revenge of the Fallen's rock/pop album. The digital download version was released even earlier, on June 12 in the United Kingdom.

  1. Prime (2:14) — Suite piece; Jetfire telling the history of the Primes; Optimus' body is brought to the mourning NEST teams.
  2. Einstein's Wrong (3:35) — Sam has a 'full blown mental meltdown' in Professor Colan's class; Simmons briefs Sam on what he knows of the Cybertronian history on Earth.
  3. NEST (2:08) — NEST gears up to fight Demolishor; Optimus and Bumblebee saving Sam, Mikaela, and Leo from Megatron, Starscream, and the Doctor.[1]
  4. The Shard (2:42) — Arcee and Sideswipe chase Sideways; The kitchen appliances come to life in the Witwickys' home; Ravage steals the AllSpark fragment from Diego Garcia; Alice chasing after Sam, Mikaela, and Leo through the campus library; Grindor kidnapping Sam, Mikaela, and Leo; Bumblebee fighting Rampage.
  5. The Fallen (4:03) — Suite piece; Galloway debates against Optimus at NEST HQ; The Doctor examines Sam
  6. Infinite White (3:58) — Tail end played when Sam's group reaches Petra.
  7. Heed Our Warning (4:26) — The song was never used in Revenge of the Fallen, but part of it was put in Dark of the Moon when the Decepticons begin attacking Chicago.
  8. The Fallen's Arrival (3:47) — Optimus Prime's death prompts Decepticon attacks across the globe.
  9. Tomb Of The Primes (2:47) — Sam, Mikaela, Leo, and Simmons find the Matrix of Leadership in the Tomb of the Primes.
  10. Forest Battle (2:04) — Optimus battles Megatron, Starscream and Grindor.[2]
  11. Precious Cargo (1:38) — Sam and Mikaela make their way toward NEST's position with the Matrix of Leadership
  12. Matrix Of Leadership (3:50) — Sam encounters the Primes and resurrects Optimus[3]
  13. I Claim Your Sun (3:06) — The Fallen steals the Matrix and activates the star harvester; Jetfire is combined with Optimus; Optimus destroys the harvester; Optimus fights The Fallen and Megatron.[2]
  14. I Rise, You Fall (3:35) — Optimus defeats the Fallen.[4]

Notes

  • Linkin Park and Hans Zimmer worked with Steve Jablonsky on the score of the movie. Linkin Park also wrote a song featured in the movie, called "New Divide". It was one of the theme songs for the movie, and they did several interpretations on that theme. The guitar riff of "New Divide" is sampled in the track "NEST".[5]
