Honestly Interrobang, that was a serious paragraph about not knowing who created it. All 4 of the candidates listed are possible originators of the Master Computer. The retcons-upon-retcons of the originally-unclear situation have piled up. -Derik 16:48, 15 February 2011 (EST)

They are only candidates because you lump everything into one incoherent mess. The Celestials only exist in IDW continuity. The Lazlat aliens are an only-mentioned species from an unrelated 2003 Generation 1 video game. The robots only exist in the manga. Yes, you're right. They exist in two different continuities in the BWII continuity family. And since the Section-0 bios don't favor any 1 continuity over the other, a note that "its creators are mysterious but may be...." is completely appropriate.

That's funny, I remember it being a fairly big deal at the time, since everyone thought it was just an Earth-like planet in an Earth-like system for stupid storytelling purposes, and because they were re-purposing toys of Earth animals. People were surprised when the RM LC bio declared Gae to be Earth out of noewhere.

They were more surprised when Takara released a timeline re-declaring Gaea to be Earth in the vastly distant future, despite all evidence to the contrary of this. I'm not saying that this is invalid... though we certainly treat it as so on many parts of the wiki, doing only "Japan so craazy!" lip service to it... but I find the militant adherence to the Japanese timeline... dumb, and misleading, and you're excising information that should be in the bio to fit it. *ahem* I mean-- and I think a more moderate solution better serves documenting the material. There is no "BWII continuity family". Putting your candidates in the intro paragraph implies that they are possible candidates in all continuities, which is not true. (There is no indication of a Master Computer in the IDW continuity, either.) Your Some hypothetical fans' surprise is irrelevant. Gaea was heavily implied to be Earth in the original media.
