Shūta Gō

Shūta Gō (剛 秀太, Gō Shūta) is a human and Autobot Headmaster Junior in the Masterforce portion of Generation 1 continuity family.

Shūta's father, Dr. Gō, was killed in a Decepticon attack. Shūta began the long-standing Transformer anime tradition of the main kid having a scientist father.

Note: Shūta's surname is Gō, and thus would be written 'Gō Shūta' in Japanese, this being the origin of the name he takes when bonded with his Transtector, Goshooter (ゴーシューター, Gō Shūtā). This article presents it westernised, with the surname last.
