Rescue Hero Go-Bots

The Kid Transformers: Rescue Heroes Go-Bots (キッズトランスフォーマーレスキューヒーローゴーボッツ) mini-manga is a series that was packaged with the 2003 Kid Transformers: Rescue Heroes Go-Bots toys. The first fifteen toys had the manga placed in a booklet titled "[character]'s Story", which also contained the instructions and advertisements for the other Rescue Heroes Go-Bots toys. The manga components were named "[character]'s Service". This formula was changed for the final four toys, which were released without booklet in favor of a plain instructions paper and the manga printed on the box under the title of "[character]'s Story". The manga is the only piece of fiction produced for the franchise.

Like the toyline, the Kid Transformers: Rescue Heroes Go-Bots mini-manga is aimed at children, meaning the art is colorful, the stories simple and adorable, and the text devoid of kanji symbols. The setting is Earth, but one where animals, cars and buildings are sapient and can communicate with the Go-Bots. Humans are mostly absent — only two appear, namely the blue driver and red driver whose figures were sold with Paul and Paul Jr..
