Insectron

The Insectrons are either a faction or a Maximal subgroup from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Insectrons (インセクトロン Insekutoron) are a horde of robot insects who fled Cybertron to escape the many endless wars. Their nomadic existence earned the Insectrons the title "wanderers of the Universe" before they found refuge on Gaea. The Insectrons were at peace for a time until Galvatron and his Predacons arrived. They now reluctantly side with Lio Convoy and the Maximals against their common foe.

The Insectrons consist of:

Beast Wars II comic

The Insectrons were used to be a mercenary group which settle down in the planet Gaea after their retirement because they wanted quiet and peaceful lives — until the Predacons arrived the planet. Thus, they decided to help the Maximals to drive out the Predacons.Demolish the Superdreadnought Tank!
