I don't have Exiles yet - is there reason to believe AP isn't just Liege Maximo's real name, since LM is a title?

It's not used in the book as a title. For example, it's always parsed "Liege Maximo," not "the Liege Maximo." Also, it was declared a title in G2, and Aligned continuity doesn't necessarily have to follow that. It could merely be his name now. It certainly didn't follow a lot of other stuff regarding the 13. (*coughcoughAlphaTrioncoughcough*) Either way, it's not our place to jump to such conclusions quite yet, not without more information. --ItsWalky 22:17, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
Does "Exiles" state for sure that the guy with big horns is Amalgamous? People who have been to Botcon have mentioned Liege Maximo's new design as still having horns and looking just like Loki, so I find it a bit odd that there's apparently two Loki lookalikes in the Thirteen. --71.17.207.182 23:20, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
Liege Maximo at BotCon was a huge hulking, monstrous spikey dude. --ItsWalky 23:23, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
Huh. Wonder why he was said to look like Loki, then. --71.17.207.182 23:27, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
If I were being catty, I'd mention that people at BotCon also said Hasbro claimed they were never ever making any Transformers Prime toys. Human memory is pretty bad. Furthermore, BotCon Prima and cartoon Prima don't match. There's some changes involved in the translation from Story Bible to Published Fiction, and these aren't changes we can readily examine, with the BotCon sneak peeks being exclusive to those in the room. Let's give more consideration to the aired cartoon and the published book. If it's revealed later that Amalgamous and Liege Maximo are the same, we'll deal with that later. As for now, that's too much guesswork. --ItsWalky 23:40, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
I agree that we shouldn't be doing any guesswork, this site is all about officially released facts, no? I request that the images of specific character artwork be taken down from Amalgamous, Nexus, A3, Vector and the Fallen's pages. We know that Prima is the leader, so we guess that's the one who is in front of the group, and that he's to have the Star Saber sword, so it makes sense that character is charging into battle with a broadsword. Solus Prime we're told is the female, hence the only female would be Solus. The rest have literally been guesswork: Alpha Trion being the one with a beard, Vector being the one with a disc in his chest are guesses using previous incarnations as "likelihoods", which I don't believe we should be using; the whole "anything you know from past generations of the brand may or may not be factual in the new continuity" plays into that. It is entirely guessed that Amalgamous is the Loki-looking one (even though the design for the Liege Maximo at BotCon '11 was VERY Loki-like), Nexus has no basis except "I guess his limbs are kinda different?", and Megatronus' page has a shot of TWELVE of the Thirteen, it's likely he's not even in it (being the traitor and all)! Until we have something more concrete, I move that we should not have specific pictures of those characters on the pages. I quote fellow use Jeysie in saying "We're interesting solely in being right, not first." --Karhukjnsi 05:46, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
Well if no one feels comfortable about it, then we should take them down. --ItsWalky 12:09, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
Yeah I think most of the images need to be held till we have some sort of official word on who's who. Anyone who has connections, feel free to see if you can get a lead or else we need to wait till/if Hasbro does another QandA... or Botcon. --76.28.76.206 13:02, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
I think Prima, Alpha Trion, and Vector are fine. Solus is borderline, and Amalgamous's and Nexus's images are too speculative. —Interrobang 14:42, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
Again, Prima is easily identifiable as the leader, and Solus by being the female, I don't believe the rest should have specifically matched images yet from that artwork. Too many people rely on this wiki for correct information, not "likely" guesses. Never in Transformers have I ever felt so strongly for anything apart from the Thirteen (as pathetic and nerdy it may sound), I stand by my request that the specific images be taken down from all members except for Prima and Solus Prime. --Karhukjnsi 15:41, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
I'd even argue Vector Prime, since the only thing going for him is "he has a circle in his chest", and that other Thirteen in the background with the energy ball around him also has that. Prima, Alpha and Solus, IMO, are the only clear ones. --Detour 17:01, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
"Vector Prime"'s face is the Autobot symbol, so. —Interrobang 17:17, 5 October 2011 (EDT)
Unfortunately with both "Vector's" head and "A3"s beard, they both fall under that horrible "past generations...may not be factual" safety net that Hasbro set up as their own fiction-insurance, so even they may not be similar to previous incarnations, no matter the similarities. --Karhukjnsi 05:22, 6 October 2011 (EDT)
Not to contradict myself above, but we have seen these guys at BotCon, and they retained these elements. I think willful ignorance is just as wrong as overstepping our bounds. --ItsWalky 11:15, 6 October 2011 (EDT)--ItsWalky 11:15, 6 October 2011 (EDT)
Then would it be wrong to put the Loki-looking guy on the Liege Maximo's page? His art was very blatant concerning that, what with the horns and green. Both Alpha Trion and Vector Prime looked extremely similar to their previous incarnations (it seems Vector just got a new cape, an hourglass and went gold), unlike Nexus or Maximo. I'm fine if there's guessing, but let it be known to others outside this discussion that it is guessing rather than straight up fact (which I know you've done with the picture for "Alpha Trion"). Preventing misinformation (or, 'willful ignorance' as you put it) is not as bad as overstepping, as the latter action, more often than not, gets people into more trouble. Again, if you want to keep A3 and Vector Prime using the "likely from before" mindset (which I thought this wiki was against), then let the Liege Maximo page keep the art of the Loki-looking member. --Karhukjnsi 16:20, 6 October 2011 (EDT)
Unless there's a Liege Maximo design I'm unaware of... those horns on "Amalgamous" look nothing like Liege Maximo's roided up Satan horns. --Detour 16:49, 6 October 2011 (EDT)
There was a new design at BotCon '11 (likely also at '10), the horns were different. The design had him green primarily, and horns like Marvel's Loki. The Loki/"Amalgamous" design matches up with that nigh perfectly, at least in regards to similarities from Loki. --Karhukjnsi 15:06, 7 October 2011 (EDT)
