The Internet is one of the greatest technological innovations of the human race. Whether that is a good thing or not is a matter of personal opinion. The good things humans do with the internet is help research for information, earn money, yadayada. There are also many other things humans do with the internet, and many, many, of them are quite stupid and are a waste of time.

Just be careful what you put on it, as you may get attacked by a child molester...or the ultimate bad cop.

There are some suspicious people on the internet!{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:Scattorshot"Retreat"|Scattorshot{{#if:"Retreat"|, "Retreat"|}}|}}

Transformers (2007)

As part of his efforts to gain money to buy a car, Samuel James Witwicky tried to sell his ancestor Archibald Witwicky's expedition equipment in an online auction, including his telescope, his compass, and (for some reason) his glasses. The Decepticons Barricade and Frenzy later tracked down Sam through his eBay page, intent on seizing the glasses, which contained the coordinates to the All Spark.

Later, when Sam met the Autobots, Jazz greeted Sam and Mikaela Banes as "little bitches". When Sam asked how Jazz could talk like that, Optimus Prime explained that they had learned Human languages through the world wide web. Transformers

Revenge of the Fallen film

Given the rather shaky cover up about the events at Mission City Los Angeles, a number of people remained skeptical about whether or not giant alien robots were walking the Earth. Rather than suck the sack of mainstream media, Leo Spitz and his friends Sharsky and Fassbinder set up The Real Effing Deal, a website dedicated to spreading the truth about how aliens were on Earth. Seymour Simmons did the same thing, feeding more relevant information about how to fight the Transformers. Revenge of the Fallen (film)

Shattered Glass continuity

Whilst trying to find Soundwave's lost stasis pod on the strange world of Earth, Heatwave used the "interweb" and discovered there was no local military activity in the area. He had some doubts as to the reliability of this information, as this interweb system had a "dirty, dirty mouth". The Desert Heat! Ravage had far different opinions, saying that it was "full of win".
